How the Mobile Punch Time Clock App with GPS Works
Time tracking data is available in our unified human capital management system in real-time, giving you complete visibility into the comings and goings of your workforce using a GPS time clock.
You’ll be able to easily view all of the relevant information necessary to make the management of your workforce more efficient, with a GPS time tracking app that gives you more control over your business in addition to our other solutions. We’ve made sure that our time and attendance tracking app is both user-friendly and effective as a reliable mobile clock in the system, giving employers everything they need to maintain accuracy of data and understand how their employees are performing.
Easy for Employees
In a few simple clicks using the mobile employee time clock, employees can clock in and out for shifts and breaks with instant confirmation of punch details. They can also enter work site information as well as:
- Enter tasks or work tickets
- View schedules
- Send and receive messages
- Sign off on timesheets
- Request paid time off
- Check PTO balances right from the app
We’ve designed our mobile time tracking app to make it as easy as possible for both employees and employers to use, which helps avoid the issues that can come with less user-friendly applications.
Hard to Outsmart
Our mobile time clock app captures the date, time and location of a punch, even when cell service is down. With real-time visibility, managers can immediately address when a punch is made outside of an acceptable radius. Geo-fencing can be enabled to automatically clock out workers when they leave a designated work area, while geo-tracking can capture an employee’s location at defined intervals throughout the work day. And for added verification, you can require workers to take a photo of themselves using the mobile clock in the system when they clock in and out. The mobile app also features facial biometrics using your device’s in-phone camera, which lets you know whether the right employee is clocking in at the right location.
Mobile Punch can be configured for use by single employees, work crews and managers. Beyond capturing basic punch information, employers have the option to track allocated hours by department and/or task. Customizable fields can be configured to track additional information (tips, mileage, rooms cleaned, etc.), depending on your needs. Additionally, check points can be set up for workers to scan after completing specific tasks. . Our GPS time tracking app is also available in both English and Spanish.
Protect against fraudulent workers’ comp claims by requiring employees to answer a “safe workday” question at clock-out. Mobile Punch gives you the option to require employees to sign off on completed tasks and shifts right from the app to improve audit trails and address state-specific Electronic Visit Verification requirements (for home health aides). You can also set up meal break blocking which keeps your company in compliance with meal break laws by ensuring employees can’t end a meal break before a pre-set minimum duration.
