Predict Which Hourly Employees Will Qualify for Health Care Coverage Under the Affordable Care Act

The Eligibility Predictor Report enables your company to easily forecast which variable hour employees are likely, or unlikely, to qualify for health care coverage under the Affordable Care Act. Armed with this information, you can proactively schedule workers accordingly while limiting your costs.

Predicting Heath Care Eligibility for Employees with a Break in Service

The Eligibility Predictor Report can also account for the complexities of identifying and predicting eligibility for variable hour employees who have had a break in work, either through a termination and rehiring or a lapse in work hours.

Under the Affordable Care Act, employees who have had a break in service for more than 13 weeks start a new period of eligibility, while employees who restart work within that 13-week range must have their eligibility calculated as if there was no break in service.

The report identifies which employees have had a break in service, if the service break is under or over the 13-week range, and predicts eligibility from there.

Using the Eligibility Predictor Report

The Eligibility Predictor Report can be customized by measurement period, grouped by site and easily exported to Excel. It clearly spells out the eligibility of each employee, as well as their average hours worked.
